With 28 years of experience in the life insurance and financial services industry, John has built his practice around education, thoughtful strategy, and helping individuals, families, and business owners make more informed financial decisions.
His approach is centered on the Fortis Legacy Diamond, a coordinated framework built around four essential financial functions — Protect, Retire, Bank, and Leverage. Rather than beginning with individual products, John focuses first on what a client’s financial resources need to accomplish, then helps identify the strategies and tools that may best support those objectives.

As Founder and Program Director of Sacramento Smooth Jazz®, Michael built the platform to serve an audience increasingly underserved by traditional radio.
With nearly 22 years of experience in financial services, he later developed Clear Talk Financial™ as a natural extension of that relationship, providing practical financial education relevant to the lives of the audience the station serves.
Michael is also the Founder and President of Bridgemark Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on expanding opportunities through music, arts, education, cultural programming, and support for independent artists.
